Saturday in San Rafael

We went and visited my dear friend, Jen and her kids on Saturday. We've known each other since we were paralegals together in 1990. We've seen each other through a mission, law school, several breakups, two marriages, two houses, a dozen or so pets, and six kids. She's pure gold. This is the park we went to. There is a little post with buttons that the kids run over and push to run different fountains. There was always someone filling up a cup to dump on another kid, and someone sitting on a fountain, waiting for an enema. It was a perfect day for it (the water park, not the enema), and you can see what Sebi thought of the chance to run around with other kids.
Here is Zoe with Sebi after they got soaking wet (they were so proud of themselves, like they'd invented the concept). They're both pretty shy, but we brought out some toys in Zoe's room, and didn't hear from them until they wanted to put on Halloween tattoos. By the end of the afternoon, they were thick as thieves. Tonight at bedtime, Sebi asked when we could go back and see Zoe again. Zoe is two months older than Sebi, but he towers above her (like most of his peers).
And Tristan was trying out a new turkey move at the water park. I cannot believe how he's grown up!
And here I am, unsuccessfully trying to get Joss to go to sleep. He was awake from 12:30pm until 7:00pm, and was in quite a state by the end of it. But you win some (Fenton's) and you lose some (driving down I-80 in traffic).
